We all have hurts, pains, and burdens to bear. Unfortunately, much of the damage we experience is at the hands of the people who are meant to love us the most, including being hurt by church. What would you think about a place that could not only help you through the hurt but could grow you into having the ability to help others with their hurts? This is what Christ left us with, the Great Commission! We’re meant to replicate ourselves!
At Music of Life Church - Kimberly, we facilitate the Great Commission (Matthew 28) through the mission God has given us: Refuge, Restoration, Repair. We have found we need all three parts of our mission to help people grow in the life that Christ said we could be abundant in! We provide a safe place (Refuge) for people whose lives are out of control and we help those people get their lives back in control (Restoration) so they can ultimately give control back to God (Repair). Although we do adhere to all three parts of our mission, you may notice that our main focus at Music of Life Church - Kimberly is the process of Restoration.
We know that our mission is only successful in our own submission to God the Father, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Through that submission, we help other people receive the healing that God has provided for them! Ultimately, we want to help people embrace God's Doctrine in order to grow into Leaders who are also equipped to help other people receive that abundant life!
We know the end-all-be-all is to submit to the Lord our God. This is what Music of Life Church - Kimberly strives to do and what we hope to instill in those people we meet. We also know, like everything else in life, there’s a process to this.
This is where the Restoration Process comes in. We have taken to heart the verses in Galatians 6 that teaches us to bear our own burdens and to bear the burdens of each other. A person going through this program will have 10-12 lessons with two Restoration Coaches. Those lessons are an intentional way to help a person bear their own burden, ON PURPOSE! We have had a wondrous amount of success (hundreds of graduates) in this way of serving. We consider the Restoration Process to be the “back-bone” of Music of Life Church - Kimberly.
The world we live in is tough and dark and it often results in people being mentally and emotionally distraught. Although there’s nothing to be done about the noise of this world, we can help people rise above that noise. In Matthew chapter 9, after Jesus healed everyone of every manner of illness, He had compassion on the people who were distressed and scattered, seeing them as sheep without a shepherd, and it grieved His Heart! The meaning of “distressed” and “scattered” speaks to the people being cast down in their thought process and emotionally disconnected.
Jesus explained and encouraged the need for laborers because in order for people to be restored mentally and emotionally, it requires interacting with people! Through the story in Matthew chapter 9 we see that God and Jesus are responsible for restoring a person spiritually and physically, which can be done instantly, while the church is responsible for restoring a person mentally and emotionally, which requires hard work (hence the term “labor”). That is what Music of Life Church - Kimberly is focused on: providing and developing Laborers for the church!
The Restoration Process not only helps a person be restored mentally and emotionally, it helps that person keep control of their lives during the hardest of times, so that they can hear the Still Small Voice of God our Father!
Most churches claim to be a "Bible Church". The Bible by itself is information. Interpretation supplies the understanding to the information in the context of the verse. While understanding ought to be valued, it still leads to denominations because of the contradictions. Only doctrine removes all the contradictions and applies in every passage of the Bible.
All of the hurt that people experience comes from learning man's doctrine, which Jesus said makes the Word of God of none effect! The reason we focus on doctrine is not so we can appear smarter than everyone else, God's doctrine is the key to making sure we are allowing God to work through us and make the Word of God able to carry out the Great Commission by making disciples. Our goal isn't to be the biggest church. Our goal is to help people become leaders at other churches.
The most important doctrine is God's Nature. Do you believe God wants to be known? Do you believe God's Nature can be understood? The belief that God can’t be known has only been around for 50 years and is known as the “Godless Christianity Movement”.

Our Sunday morning service is scheduled from 9:20am - 11:00am. We’ve modeled it after the Last Supper and have found this style and order of service to bring glory to God!
The first part of Music of Life Church’s service, 9:20am - 10:00am, is our intentional Fellowship Time. We dedicate this time to providing a safe place for people to share and fellowship. We also break bread during this part of our service, great food and coffee!
This is followed by brief announcements and Communion (we partake every week) which is then followed by our weekly sermon. This is time for us to continue growing towards being synced up with each other thru God’s Word.
Our sermons are focused on delivering God's doctrine to all in attendance. After the sermon, we sing songs of praise to worship our Lord! This is the time when our church body intentionally sends our value, together, to God! This time is finished with an opportunity to spend time with the Holy Spirit or in prayer.
Ultimately, each part of our service and its order is meant to progressively grow closer to God, ending with a time to give God the last word. He is our Rock, our Foundation! We come in ready to shake the dust off our feet and prepare ourselves to be sanctified by Him!
We have a mid-week service on Wednesday night. It is scheduled from 6:59pm - 8:29pm. This service is broken up in two parts Doctrine and Prayer.
The first half of the service we are given a presentation of some type that grows our intimacy and understanding of the Father. The second half of the service is dedicated to prayer.
We submit requests, give praise reports, and close in prayer.
I was born a Pastor’s Kid! Although I was taught about Jesus at an age earlier than I can remember, I didn’t choose to live for Him until I was 25 years old! When I finally made that most important of decisions, I immediately felt a calling on my life. I was blessed to be connected with some very Godly people who helped me understand who God is and how to live for Him. I knew He created me for a purpose unique to me and I went on an intentional journey to live that out.
My main passion is discipleship and teaching the word of God. I spent years studying the scriptures and finally was led to enter seminary. God had me on a journey that would lead to where I am today. I was honored to be part of the home-church that would one day become Music of Life Church.
I have been in the role of Pastor since the beginning of Music of Life Church. The first 3 years as an Associate and since October 2016 as the Senior Pastor. I have cherished the years that God has given me to care for His people. I long to continue to do so in whatever capacity He calls! I have never been more joyful to live in His presence and to shepherd His people!
joel@musicoflifechurch.comThroughout my childhood, I was aware of God's existence, however, I didn't know how to have a relationship with Him. Therefore, I chose to live my life according to my own plan for happiness. When I was in my mid 20's, I felt that God told me He wanted me to be a Pastor, but it wasn't until my mid 30's when my plan for how to live my life finally broke and I fully surrendered to Him.
I am honored to be named an Associate Pastor of Music of Life Church! I believe God, that I now know is Right and Just in His Nature, has created everyone uniquely. The way I get to use my uniqueness is by helping people discover and repair their own damage and pain, so they can then move forward to do God's Will.
I am happily married to my amazing wife Heather (a Deacon in MOLC!) and we have two awesome daughters, Layla and Rosie. I love hanging with my family and enjoy watching them grow more into who God created them to be!
ryan@musicoflifechurch.comI was raised in the church by a loving and supportive family. I saw the benefit of Salvation in Christ, but no reason to continue going to church once I did receive it. Afterwards, I pursued the American Dream to build my name and ensure my retirement. The problem was, pursuing this plan exhausted me and made me totally miserable by the time I was 24. When I was at my lowest and out of options, a friend encouraged me towards Music of Life Church!
At MOLC I experienced Refuge: a safe place to share, be known and accepted for who I was. When I was ready to pick up the pieces of my life, I entered Restoration. This changed my life. I learned who I was made to be, who God is and how to bear my own burdens! For the first time, I experienced the true power of Jesus’s Death, Burial and Resurrection in MY life. I knew I had found something truly special. Since Restoration, I’ve been growing in my unique way of serving the Body of Christ and experiencing excess energy and fulfillment.
In 2020, I trained for the role of Associate Pastor and happily accepted it. I am excited to care for God’s flock at Music of Life Church and continue to grow our unique purpose that God has given us! I invite you to come and experience the Refuge, Restoration and Repair in your own life!
eric@musicoflifechurch.comThe Word of God was inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness and declares God's design and plan for mankind.
There is only One True God, revealed in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (commonly known as the Trinity).
In the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus was fully-man and fully-God. Jesus provided the only way to a repaired fellowship with God the Father.
Man willingly fell to sin, ushering evil and death, both physical and spiritual, into the world.
Every person can have fellowship with God through salvation by Jesus Christ the Son of God. Salvation comes by grace through faith and not of works.
The greatest command is that we are to love God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength. And a second like unto it is that we are to love our neighbor as ourselves.
The Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a special experience following salvation that empowers believers for witnessing and effective service, just as it did in New Testament times.
Two ordinances: 1) Water Baptism after repenting of one's sins and receiving Christ's gift of salvation, and as a symbolic remembrance of Christ's death, burial, and resurrection for our salvation and sanctification. 2) Holy Communion (the Lord's Supper) as a way to examine ourselves and allow God to examine us, and as a symbolic remembrance of Christ's death, burial, and resurrection for our salvation and sanctification.
