Misson and Vision Statement

Mission:
We are a place of Refuge, Restoration, and Repair.

Vision:
Music Of Life Church is a Physical Illustration of a Spiritual Truth. We are part of the Bride Of Christ, and in being so, we are a place of Refuge, Restoration, and Repair. We are being conformed into the image of Christ daily and thereby becoming the purified Bride preparing for the Grooms' return. We are seated with Christ in heavenly places and intentionally setting our affection on things above. We are seeking to be faithful followers of Christ by obeying the Great Commission. We believe we should Go, Win, Baptize, Teach, and make Disciples everywhere we go, until Jesus returns for His Church.

What We Believe

WE BELIEVE: The Word of God was inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness and declares God's design and plan for mankind.

WE BELIEVE: There is only One True God, revealed in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (commonly known as the Trinity). God is Holy, His Nature is Right and Just. All other characteristics of God (loving, merciful, etc.) are a result of Him being Right and Just.

WE BELIEVE: In the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus was fully-man and fully-God. Jesus provided the only way to a repaired fellowship with God the Father.

WE BELIEVE: Man willingly fell to sin, ushering evil and death, both physical and spiritual, into the world.

WE BELIEVE: Every person can have fellowship with God through salvation. Salvation comes by grace through faith. Grace is "the divine influence upon the heart and its reflection in the life." Faith is "a belief in something you cannot see, either because it is invisible or it has yet to happen."

WE BELIEVE: The greatest command is that we are to love God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength. We are to love our neighbor as ourselves.

WE BELIEVE: The Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a special experience following salvation that empowers believers for witnessing and effective service, just as it did in New Testament times.

WE BELIEVE AND PRACTICE: Two ordinances: 1) Water Baptism after repenting of one's sins and receiving Christ's gift of salvation, and as a symbolic remembrance of Christ's death, burial, and resurrection for our salvation and sanctification. 2) Holy Communion (the Lord's Supper) as a way to examine ourselves and allow God to examine us, and as a symbolic remembrance of Christ's death, burial, and resurrection for our salvation and sanctification.

In my upbringing, I was always taught that “Jesus is the answer!” However, it wasn’t until I was 25 years old that I made the decision to live my life for our Lord and Savior. My main passion now is to effectively pursue and present understanding…especially the Word of God. The Bible has the answers we need to live a life of purpose…on purpose. I want to help people understand the principles that will help them live a victorious life through Christ.

Born in Mississauga Ontario.

High school: Hortonville High School, graduated 2002

Senior member of The Deeper Why Ministries
Senior Editor of The Deeper Why Doctrine Blog (www.thedeeperwhy.blogspot.com)

I was raised in a loving christian home, and accepted Jesus as my personal savior at a young age. Unfortunately, the more time I spent in the church the more I saw the hypocrisy of those that were called "Pastors" and "Leaders" and "Elders" and became disenfranchised with the church. I played music in a band for 7 years, searching for community, and did not find it until my dearest friends in The Deeper Why Ministries taught me about who I was and who God is...my instrument and God's instrument! Now, my mission is to lead with wisdom, and my heart longs to bring people out of their deepest wounds from church, family, past relationships, or traumatic experiences, to see them alive in their God-given destiny.
